New Employees

October 22, 2007 – Randolph F. Williams, President/CEO, is pleased to announce the hiring of two new employees at Lafayette Savings Bank.

Commercial Loan Officer – Sam Burns

Samuel (Sam) L. Burns is a new Commercial Loan Officer. He will originate for approval credit requests for business loans. Prior to coming to Lafayette Savings Bank, Burns was Assistant Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer at Lafayette Bank and Trust Company. Burns is a 2002 graduate of Purdue University with a BS degree in Financial Counseling and Planning. He is involved on the Board of Directors for Meals on Wheels, Steering Committee for TippyConnect, and an Ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce. Burns is a 2004 graduate of Leadership Lafayette and a 2006 graduate of the Dale Carnegie Sales School.

Burns is originally from Winamac, IN and is a 1997 graduate of Winamac High School.

Assistant Branch Manager, Main Office – Andy Van Hyfte

Andrew (Andy) S. Van Hyfte is the new Assistant Branch Manager at the Main Office. Van Hyfte will assist the branch manager in the overall operations of the Main Office Branch in downtown Lafayette. Prior to coming to Lafayette Savings Bank, he was Assistant Branch Manager for Charter One Bank in West Lafayette. Van Hyfte is a 2001 graduate of Indiana State University with a BS degree in Recreation and Sport Management with an emphasis in Business Administration. He was a member of the Attica-Williamsport Rotary Club.

Van Hyfte is originally from Attica, IN and is a 1996 graduate of Seeger High School.
